My Fab Toy the New Trimmer.

THE NEW STAMPIN’ TRIMMER

It's SO, SO good!  Many features of this tool make it the best on the market. The precision tip on the cutting blade allows you to pinpoint precisely where you’re cutting. The handle shows you exactly where the blade will cut, making it easy to see exactly where your cuts and scores will begin and end. And, with the specially-designed insertion point, the handles snap into the track easily without bending or bowing the track itself—which helps to keep the track straight and rigid

Introducing the new and improved Stampin’ Trimmer! Although paper trimmers are a common crafting tool, this trimmer was designed exclusively by paper crafters for paper crafters—and because it was made by Stampin’ Up!, you know it’s a cut above the rest!

Features of the All-New Stampin’ Trimmer
  • An extra-wide 15.9 cm cutting base and an extended 39 cm ruler
    • The extra-wide cutting base provides a large work area and is marked in 4 mm increments, allowing for small measurements.
    • The right-side grid helps you measure and cut very thin strips.
    • The extended cutting arm has a stabilizing leg to provide a sturdy and steady cutting surface for longer cuts.
    • When fully extended, the extended cutting arm sits flush with the trimmer base, providing more accurate and consistent measurements across the entire surface.
    • All rulers and measurements on the base are printed under a plastic cover so your measurements won’t wear off.
    • The base has nonskid feet, which keeps the Stampin’ Trimmer securely in place on your work area.

  • A full 30.5 cm cutting and scoring track
    • The extra-long cutting track has space at the top and bottom so you don’t have to take the cutting and scoring blades out when you’re not using them.
    • The track gives you enough space to cut or score a full 30.5 cm without having to remove or switch out handles.
    • The cutting track locks in place for secure storage or transport.
    • The track includes an insertion point for cutting and scoring blade handles so you can easily insert handles into the cutting track.

  • Specially designed handles and cutting track to ensure straight cuts
    • The hook on the scoring and cutting blade handles keeps the handles stable so the cuts are as straight as possible.
    • Handles come in two colors: dark for cutting, light for scoring.
    • The precision tip on the cutting blade allows you to pinpoint precisely where you’re cutting.
    • The point on the side of each handle shows you where the blade will cut, making it easy to see exactly where your cuts and scores will begin.

  • Storage compartment under base
    • The storage compartment holds scoring and cutting tools such as a Bone Folder, Simply Scored Stylus, extra scoring and cutting blades and even business cards.
    • Separate compartments within the storage compartment keep your tools organized, and the clear cover makes it easy to see what you’ve stored.

New wood-mount stamps packaging
As you know the Annual Catalogue is retiring in a couple of months ready for the spankingly-beautiful new one on the 1st of July - and with the new catalogue we will see our wood-mount stamps packaged differently. This means they will file away neatly next to the clear-mount stamps; which already feature the name of the stamp set and pictures down the side of the box.

I am SO excited about these. Take a little look at the video here:

Colour Refresh reminder
Don't forget that since Stampin' Up! announced their forthcoming Colour Refresh now is the time to order in any inks, refills, card-stock, ribbon, papers etc. in the retiring colours as they are only available whilst stocks last. Ping me your orders to:  pippajones@btinternet.com

LOTS of exciting news from Stampin' Up! at the moment, please keep coming back to get all the information you need.

Colour Refresh

Stampin' Up! are changing their colours. They decided to overhaul all the colours in 2010 and said they would do a smaller colour refresh every 3-5 years to keep things fresh. The three years are up; and so it's time for a much needed change.

There are ten colours that are retiring. They are keeping 4 of the about-to-retire In-Colour shades you'll be pleased to hear (Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Island Indigo and Wisteria Wonder) and are bringing back a couple of colours from last year (Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzaz). There are also some new colours from even further back ~ and a completely new colour (the only one) which is called Smoky Slate - which was a gap in the colour scheme, and is bang on trend.

You will be able to purchase the new colours (if you don't already have them from previous Colour Collections) when the new Annual Catalogue comes out on 1st July 2013 (exciting!)... In the meantime Stampin' Up! have advised that you stock up on retiring colour items now (if you would like them) as they are only available for as long as stocks last. This is all inks, card stock, refills and ribbon - anything with these discontinuing colours in.

There is another announcement to make (it's all happening this week) - the Watercolour Pencils and Crayons are going to be discontinued due to supplier issues. If you have these on your wishlist then you should also think about ordering these sooner rather than later as they will also be only available whilst stocks last.

Please contact me by email (pippajones@btinternet.com) or by telephone if you have any questions or would like to place an order (07962030751).

Thanks for looking and be back with LOTS of cards and gifts soon.
