More butterflies Acrylic Block effect

Good morning
. I achieved this effect by rubbing Acrylic blocks (meant for holding the clear mount cling stamps) in our ink pads(or you could use ink refills or even your pens..all work well), and then rubbing onto the card to create this effect. Minimal effort for maximum style!

I just can't understand why some of my pictures are on their sides..Any ideas anyone?

Acrylic blocks from Stampin' Up! are big and chunky - they're fantastic quality and are a must if you use clear-mount stamps. We have them in a variety of sizes:
Acrylic blocks, Stampin' Up!

The largest block (F) measures 12.4 x 15.2cm to give you an indication of size. These (as are all Stampin' Up! products) are available to order through me.

Papillon Potpourri

Morning!
I don't think I will ever tire of butterflies.  They add such elegance to any card.  I wasn't too sure of the colour combo of brown and blue to start with but it is growing on me.  Think if I did this one again I would probably not stamp the background butterflies in white (think its too stark), maybe just stamp them with Crumb Cake, a little subtler then.

Sorry this picture is so blurred!

Betsy's Blossoms

I tell you what I want, what I really, really want!
Guess what we saw Thursday night....VIVA FOREVER....amazing! Especially as we donned appropriate costumes.  Wonder if you can guess who I was?

Awwwwww I'm loving this stamp set, Betsy's Blossoms.  So versatile, just love the big bloom.

How effective it looks with the border edged, as so simple with just a pair of scissors.

A very quick and easy card, always handy to have a few of these in your stash.

My Mum took a real likening to this card.  I wondered if maybe it was a little too simple but have to agree with the saying, 'Less is more!'

Convention Swap and name badge

This is now rewritten... due to so many grammatical  ERRORS pointed out by my very critical parents, who have no idea how tired I actually am!

Morning bloggers!  Well I survived the Lake District trip with 60 children for the week and although extremely tiring we had such a fantastic time.  It's such a beautiful part of the country.

Meant to share this card with you a few weeks ago but totally forgot these were on my old camera!
It's really hard when thinking of your design for a convention or any swap, as you want to make them look as  pretty as possible but not use too much card stock or make your design so complicated that it take too long to recreate en masse!  I hope I achieved that with this card front.

I wasn't too sure about putting Pool Party and Summer Starfruit together but love the result.  I think the result looks like Lucky Limeade when mixed together.

Layering up the butterfly gives great dimension to your project

Isn't this a lovely greeting?

OOOH and look at my name badge I made for the event.  Not sure why my hand is floating in the air though!!

Obviously I used only Stampin Up products.  Wonder if you can recognise a few?

Stippled Blossoms

Sneaky Peaky into next week's card class.   This is just one of the cards we will be making using these beautiful two-step stamp sets.   So glad they are going to be staying in the catalogue, and love the colour combo of Pink Pirouette and Rose Red.

I was taught this technique at Donna's my wonderful upliners' training sessions (see her website here!).  If you become a demonstrator with me, you will also be invited to these events and my own Paperpiskies training days.  It's great fun and a definite way of meeting like minded friends.

Don't look too close loads of mistakes on this card.  But that's part of the charm, as my friend Kim (see her blog here) always tells me 'Nature is not perfect'....lovely quote and lovely lady.
