Love & Joy

Good morning. Can't believe half term is nearly over, I had SO much planned and have hardly put a dent in my list...Oh well, evenings and weekends are going to be busy for awhile!

Thought I'd share with you the make and take we made at the Ipswich Convention, way back in September.  We had a lovely evening and we were all lucky enough to be given the 'Love & Joy' Christmas Stamp.

These great little notelets were made using the notelet card set in the catalogue (have to say I didn't know we even sold them, but have now put my order in and the quality of the envelopes are fab!)

I'm mad on Washi Tape, just love it!

This and That

Morning everyone and we now have heating and electricity...YIPPEE!

As promised here is the winner of the first Stamp With Us challenge....Is Sarah Costello and I'm so delighted as she is one of my lovely carding buddies.  Congrats Sarah it's a fabulous design and one I shall certainly use myself.

Sarah kindly sent me a little blurb about herself:

Thank you so much for choosing me as your winner - I'm very pleased.
I've been crafting for several years and I've tried everything but papercrafting is my favourite. I enjoyed crafting with my daughter when she was little and I do lots of craft with my Rainbows and Brownies.
I just love stamping because you can take a few simple supplies and create something lovely. I like card-making but I really like to make things for my home and gifts for friends. I'm a big fan of "up-cycling"!! I love to scour charity shops for stuff!
My day job is a Staff Nurse on a busy medical ward so crafting is my therapy.
I love SU products of course! I like the way everything co-ordinates  and the colours are so pretty. I've got all the inkpads but not the in colour ones  (yet!!)  and I'd love some matching cardstock but I can't justify it really as I have lots of card already!!
I also love Waltzingmouse stamps and my dies and embossing folders, oh and Anna Griffin too.
I do have a blog but I haven't written it over the summer but now the nights are drawing in again I'll try and post more!
My blog link is    http://dreamingspirescards.blogspot.co.uk/
I hope that tells you enough about me and I'm looking forward to the next challenge.
Sarah

Which neatly brings me onto Sarah's daughter Niamh, who kindly created a This and That album for me to showcase on my blog. I'm so impressed by it, she truly has created a fabulous memory of her family holiday to Ireland.
Many, many thanks Niamh for allowing me to share this with everyone.

Halloween! Ipswich Convention Swaps.

Morning all.  Luckily I've been kinda forced to sit down and update my blog due to the fact I have no electric, heating, water etc because of the storm yesterday...fingers crossed it come back on soon!  So I have decided to take my laptop and spend the morning warm in my local gym cosied up with a Costa coffee...obviously no time to exercise!

Today I am sharing my Halloween treats that I made for the convention I attended in Ipswich.  It is also my design I used for this months stamper challenge...

As some of you may know I am part of the admin team for a Challenge Page on facebook called
Stamp with Us

Every 2 weeks we set a challenge using Stampin' Up products
we set up an album for all the entries to be added to and then choose a winner

The winning entry is then a featured artist on our blogs and will become the profile picture on the Challenge page

Here is the page

I can't wait to share with you tomorrow the winners entry and comment and also a project her daughter made...a very talented family.
