Larger than life cards

Good morning.
Recently at my school ,two of our amazing secretaries celebrated their 60th birthdays and as it was such a special occasion we were asked to create a card from the children to sign and here is my year 6 contribution.  Have to say I don't think I've ever done such large cards!

Hope you liked them?

Many thanks for looking and happy crafting.

The Open Sea

Morning.
I have to say men I find men SO difficult to make cards for, anyone agree?
So was delighted when Sally (my cousin) ordered The Open Sea stamp set....That I could obviously borrow, no point in me buying it too:-)

I made this one for my Dad and Brother-in-Law and both though the globe, anchor and compass was a print on the Stampin Up's designer Paper.  It really was effortless to create the look with the stamps, I literally just plonked (a term I use lots at my classes) the images where I wanted.  I was really pleased with the finished card.
Might need to borrow this again Sally!

Nightmare with photography again, sorry!

Samaritans Event

This is embarrassing!....Way back in March we hosted a make, take and donate for the Samaritans.  We managed to make over one hundred cards and had a fabulous time in the process.  So a big thank you to my card making companions for their time and donations to make this such a success again.
I received a lovely letter from one of the volunteers thanking us and I know that the majority of cards have already been sold...So roll on next year!

Thanks again everyone.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting.

clearance sale is here!

Yippee, it's midnight but I just had to quickly blog to tell you that, Stampin’ Up! UK Clearance Rack is OPEN!
Whoop Whoop!
This is so exciting! The clearance rack is open!
What this means is that previously retired products that were discontinued from the Stampin’ Up! catalogues, but hadn’t sold out, are now available once more.
But…. AT A DISCOUNT!
See, there was a reason for the Whoop Whoop at the start!
It’s so exciting, I’m shopping right now, and I want to grab things quickly. I'm amazed at how cheap the card stock and designer papers are!
Simply, once they’re gone, they’re gone. This isn’t a one off promotion, and it won’t ‘stop’ but there are only limited supplies of products.
However, there will be fresh updates regularly, and new items added, so do please keep checking back regulalry.
Now, all you need to do is click on my shopping trolley on the left hand side to go to my online store, and click ‘Shop Now’ under my name in the top right hand corner, and there on the left will be ‘Clearance Rack’
It’s super easy, amazing, and I am fabulously excited by this!

Thanks for reading, night night

Pleasant Poppies

Good morning my lovely followers.

Lost my way with carding over last month or two, just seems like there's so much to do in my general life that carding has taken a real back seat, but I'm trying hard now to PLAN into my life at least 2 evenings a week to myself to either card or catch up with things like my blog etc, as I have SO many cards I've created that I'm dying to share with you all.

This card was made way back in June at one of my card classes.  Pleasant Poppies was a stamp that I actually didn't own...I borrowed it long term from my mum! (happy to say I have now purchased one for myself)

The image was Versa Marked and embossed with Whisper White Embossing Powder.

Then with my much loved Blender Pends painted with Real Red Ink and Olive Olive

And where would you be if I didn't add a butterfly or two!
